FOR PAPERS
You are invited to submit abstracts
for the Water Demand Management Conference on the topics listed in the abstract form. When completing the presentation abstract form, please
indicate the session number.
Presentation Format
The conference will include
technical sessions, panel presentations, poster sessions, and professional
development workshops.
1)
Papers: Twenty-minute technical presentations or lectures are
encouraged on a select topic followed by a 10-minute discussion period. Please
see guidelines for abstract submission.
2) Posters:
Poster sessions are planned to display technical paper presentations or work
related to any of the conference topics. Poster presenters are expected to be
available for a specified period of time to discuss their work. Please see
guidelines for posters.
3) Panel presentations: Panels of 2-3 speakers on a special topic,
each speaking for 15 minutes followed by discussion.

Abstract Guidelines for Presentations, Panels
and Posters

Abstracts must be in English, typed in Times Roman, font size 12 and single
line spaced.

Abstracts should include a) an objective, b) the methodology, and c) the
expected results and their implications.

Do not include graphs, chartsor plots.

Abstract should be at maximum 500 words.
Poster guidelines (for the conference use)

Posters must be prepared in UNE A-1 format (594 x 840 mm), or similar. They
will be prepared in a vertical position, to be placed at the boards at the
conference.

Title and author(s) name(s) and their affiliation will be placed at the top of
the poster.

Texts, photos, graphics and figures in the poster should describe in simple
terms and summarize the main idea of the paper it is based on.
Registration and Travel Fees
-
Presenters are expected to pay
their own travel expenses (air ticket and hotel accommodation).
Complimentary registration will be provided to conference presenters.

The organizers of this conference do not provide Sponsorships. Limited
“Sponsorship” will be available from other sponsoring agencies and will be
announced at a later date.
