The Ministry of Water and Irrigation (MWI)
in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is the authority charged with all water issues in Jordan

The United States Agency for International Development is an independent federal government agency that supports U.S. foreign policy objectives in a range of development issues. It is funding the Water Demand Management Sector.

Jordan University of Science and Technology is the premier technical Institution in Jordan. It has 11 faculties, 52 academic departments, 49 undergraduate programs and 71 graduate programs. The campus has more than 11,000 registered students including those from 40 foreign and Arab countries. The campus is based in Irbid, a 40-minute drive from Amman.

The Water Efficiency and Public Information for Action program (WEPIA) is the Water Conservation program of the MWI, in collaboration with the water Demand Management Unit of the MWI. It is implemented by the Academy for Educational Development (AED), a US NGO.
