Award Winning Design of a Model Water-
and Energy-Efficient Low-Income Expandable Housing Unit in Jordan
The Ministry of Water and Irrigation in Jordan, in
collaboration with the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA)
organized a competition for the design of a model water- and
energy-efficient low-income residence. The competition was managed by the
Water Efficiency and Public Information for Action (WEPIA) program and is
partially funded by the United States Agency for International Development
(USAID). The competition was implemented by the Center for the Study of
the Built Environment (CSBE).
