Location	:	Jordan is strategically located in the Middle East. It is surrounded by Syria from the North, Iraq and Saudi Arabia from the East, Gulf of Aqaba and Saudi Arabia from the South and Palestine National Authority and Israel from the West.
Population	:	Population  of Jordan is around 5.3 million.
Language	:	The official language is Arabic. English is widely spoken.
Time	:	2 hours ahead of GMT in the winter / 3 hours ahead in the summer.
Religion	:	Primarily Islamic with a minority of Christians and other faiths.
Customs/ Restrictions	:	Drugs, firearms, poisons, chemicals, explosives and pornographic matters cannot be brought into the country.
